Tensegrity

Oliver Smart and Folded Feather were approached by the creative team of Asif Khan to devise a secure and adjustable mechanism to join brass rod and steel guitar string for an artwork expressing the principles of Tensegrity.
The solution was required to fit within the chosen scale, maintain a high degree of tension and be formally unobtrusive/elegant.
