Captain Flint the Parrot
The brief was to create a puppet parrot which could be comfortably operated by two 14 year old puppeteers for a school production of Treasure Island.
Ideally-
All this was achieved within a tight budget and timeframe.
We shed a tear when Captain Flint departed the studio and wish him all the very best for an exciting future on the stage!
Ideally-
- the head would tilt in a cheeky manner,
- the beak would move
- the wings open expansively for the physical expression of a swooping flight
- Captain Flint would happily perch on a shoulder
